The Four Areas of Monadnock Rod & Gun Club
The Monadnock Rod & Gun Club is divided into four basic areas. These areas are:
- Canteen: Pavilion/Kitchen area
- Firearms Range area
- Archery Range/3D Course area
- Pond/Stream/and Woodlands area (not covered by Archery)
There are 5 committees that are responsible for these areas. The Archery Committee oversees the care and maintenance of
the archery trails, targets and materials. The Rifle Range Committee cares for the maintenance of the rifle range & target materials and storage, and the Fish & Game
Committee which oversees the pond, stream & woodlands in general. The Canteen Committee centers around the operation of the kitchen, but includes basic restocking of the kitchen and bathrooms, and trash removal around the Pavilion area. The Maintenance Committee oversees repairs and upkeep around the whole Club (General Area), but concentrates on the care of the grassy areas (grass cutting, brush removal, weed wacking) in the summer, and snow removal in the winter.
